Bucs vs. Dolphins: What to watch for in Tampa Bay's preseason home opener

Miami desperately needs a win to avoid the season falling completely out of hand with four straight losses. Unfortunately, our next matchup is the former Super Bowl champions. At least this will hopefully be the final game we have to endure Jacoby Brissett at Quarterback, as Tua Tagovailoa becomes eligible to return from IR following this game.

Miami 10

Tampa Bay 31

Offense has actually been alright today. Defense was awful. TB was killing us throwing to the middle of the field. A lot of underneath crossers that were busted for bigger gains, and mis range completions inside the numbers. Middle of the field was wide open all game. We seemed to make ZERO defensive adjustments. Just continued to run cover 1 for the entire game.

Also playing QB behind our offensive line should be a violation of human rights.

I am just in total disgust right now, this franchise is right back where it was 2 years ago. With all the draft picks all the trades and free agents zero progress has been made in two years. Not sure who is to blame but the facts are the facts this team has regressed and that is sad. So many high picks have busted and when Miami did hit on great draft picks they trade them away to other teams. I am  just totally frustrated at this point and at a loss on what to even think about the future as it seems to be back at square one.  I believe change has to start at the top of the organization before a true winner is ever built in Miami.

The 2020 draft may go down in infamy as a franchise-wrecker for Miami. Incredibly awesome to have 3 picks, so Fins draft a QB, LT, and DB.

In the game today, zero contributions from any of them at their original position (LT sucked so bad, got demoted to LG). DB was inactive, QB was hurt and on IR.

Three strikes in the 1st rd is pretty much a firing offense. Ouch. You had three chances.

Now that I think about it, two picks in the 5th rd too, both of those were busts, neither guy is on the team a year later. Can't see how any GM could survive these glaring mistakes.
