We’ve got players purposefully going on IR now. What a time to be alive.

I wonder if Lambo was purposefully missing kicks to get released.

One positive here, is that it should theoretically make it easier to move on from two guys, that we really need to move on from.  Sticky guys, who seem to hang around.  They're both competent players in a lot of respects.  But neither is good enough.

I’m fine with bringing them both back, but it’s a Requirement that they not just be handed the job they had previously. Aside from the week 1 drops, Chark showed a number of good things to be given a chance to be a #2 WR. But it has to be paired with bringing in an elite talent to make into the #1. Let Chark battle with Marvin and the rest of the team for the #2 spot and it’s probably okay.

Cann, if he comes cheap, I’m not opposed to letting him compete with Bartch and a mid round pick. I’d probably prefer them spend kinda big there, but it’s okay as long as the return for both of them comes with an opportunity for bolstered depth.

It's just one of those things where...if you pay to bring those guys back, none of what you said is going to happen.  They're going to be "brought back" at market cost or better, and that's going to gift them presumptive roster spots.  That's how they get so "sticky"  They stick in the roster, even if they shouldn't.  If you keep them around.

It's not that they can't fulfill those duties...but it's like, you don't keep Gabbert around to be "backup QB", even if he can win a Super Owl doing that exact role.
