He's gone. He is 5 years or so left and these moves to a contender will be quiet popular for QBs now. The precedent has been set.

Yeah but Tom had fell into the perfect situation for that to happen. It'll be much harder for other QBs to do. Tom left N.E for a team loaded with pieces that was just missing the QB. Closest team to that might be Denver and I don't see who the Broncos have that the Seahawks would want in for a return.

NYJ are like oh really..... Sucks that Russ got hurt. Really enjoy watching him play QB when Pete Carroll is not trying to sabotage him, but that draft pick the Jets could get from Seattle this year is gonna be way better then they could have ever thought. Not many wins there for Seattle over the next 6 weeks... Maybe 1 win

Geno is about to be more valuable to the Jets than he ever was!

Also, there goes the Seahawks season (not that were even sure to make the playoffs or anything). Hopefully Carroll do really bad (Wilson is the main reason for the team's success so it wouldn't be shocking) and the team move on from him. Bring in Joe Brady pretty please

Isnt he right now projected as the 1st overall pick?

Nope - he's not looked as good as people were expecting this season. He's probably still a 1st round pick, but guys like Matt Corral (Ole Miss) Desmond Ridder (Cincinnati) and Malik Willis (Liberty) are gaining ground on him.

Overall, it's actually a pretty poor QB class - no stand outs, nobody who is a lock at 1.1 in this class. Even the non-QBs who were highly rated are having down years (Kayvon Thibodeaux and his ankle, Derek Stingley Jr and his foot, etc). One could make a compelling case that S Kyle Hamilton is the best player in this draft - but nobody is taking a S at 1.1. I am starting to think that Alabama T Evan Neal might be the first pick, given his position.

It's turning out to not be a good year to have a top 5ish pick, IMO.

Gaining ground on Rattler? All 3 should be in front of him. And I'd take Carson Strong over Rattler too. Rattler is QB5 right now.

Yeah this draft class for QBs isn’t good that’s why last year was very important for teams who needed QBs to get one.

Im high on Stingley Jr. he has a chance to be one of the best corners in the NFL not too long into the league. Now it doesn’t mean he goes 1st overall but top 3-5 yes. I agree that OT Evans could go 1st overall based on his position especially if the Jags get the 1st overall pick. They need to protect Lawrence.
