He had a non-compete with Arkansas that he couldn’t jump to another SEC school. Going to UM for 17 days voided that. Seems that he had an agenda in mind and played UM. Could be wrong though. Enos also had a contract stipulation that he'd be paid more if he became a coordinator. Would not have been surprised if Pep had been pushed out or something like that with Enos taking that job, but who knows. Maybe it was always about getting to Bama. Just because it was rumored, doesn't mean that it was a demotion. There is a reason that his title and responsibilities were never announced. You can't correct somebody for using the word "supposed" when you use the word "rumored" to refute it. Rumored is the very definition of supposed.
