Nice try. @RuralBill, do programs make no mistakes in hiring coaches? If Kevin Sumlin was so bad, why did A&M give him a 6 year 30 million dollar contract in 2013? It was one of the worst decades in Michigan football, and they still finished with more 10 win seasons in that span than Texas A&M. Jim Harbaugh already has more 10 win seasons than TAMU has had in the past 10 years, so it isn't even true despite TAMU having a Heisman winner in that span. So congratulations on that success. Heck, let's throw in Franchione and go all the way back to 2003. Still just one 10 win season. Hm. Back to Aggies 247 I go. That sounds like a good idea. We all agree that Fisher is a great hire for TAMU, but he's not a top 5 coach in CFB, much less #2 or #3. And your insistence that he'll be winning more NCs at TAMU than he did at FSU is over the top. TAMU should do well over Jimbo. He'll recruit there. They'll be a consistently good team. They'll even have some great years if he lands a great QB. But he's not the type of guy that will have you in the NC hunt every year.
