Jon Gruden resigns

Man the NFL is so fickle. Just 2 weeks ago Raiders were 3-0 and looking promising for the year. Looked like Gruden and Carr were in synch and KC was down, defense was much improved.. now lost 2 straight and this stuff with Jon.

Now, this could galvanize the team, give an intern a chance to incorporate better philosophy and inspire better play. So by no means am i saying Raiders season is over. This could propel them beyond their ceiling with Gruden. Just pointing out how quickly things change in this league.

Very true!

The team was absolutely not in the game vs. the Bears and clearly distracted and/or pissed off about the Gruden stuff. Even if we somehow kept him around a bit longer, this team was taking a major step back regardless.

This is a fresh start we needed and hopefully the team can stay focused. Not an easy task by any means but it'll be fun to see regardless.

His comments were gross and moronic so dont take this as a defense, but doesn't it feel kinda like he was setup by someone?
The league found these emails while investigating the Washington Football Team, and then somehow Grudens private emails that had nothing to do with that investigation get sent to The Wall St. Journal?
And then the team doesn't take disciplinary action, so a couple days later more emails leak as well as a report that the league is monitoring the team's response?
Seems like someone at the league office wanted him gone for whatever reason. Maybe the Goodell comments hit a nerve or something

Back in 2017, prior to a MNF game when he was a broadcaster, he got out of his car at Arrowhead and dropped his cell phone on the pavement. He then proceeded to take a step and just stood on his phone with his right foot.

he's a ball deflater as well !?!?!
