If you include all jobs in the world, Raiders head coach is an extremely appealing job.

If you only include the 32 NFL head coaching positions… I don’t see how it’s an appealing job.

The argument I would make is:

new stadium.
fun weapons (Waller, jacobs, hunter)

elite pass rusher

+ the promise to spend for a QB (rodgers? Russ? Watson….probably can’t here).

I could see it being an o coaches dream

Every roster in the NFL has a couple of fun pieces. And new stadium? Who cares? Most coaches get one shot at a job, and you’d definitely prefer it to be with an organization that hasn’t been a bumbling disaster for nearly 2 decades, with a crazy owner, TV analyst GM, and stuck in QB purgatory.

In the end, offer someone enough money and they will come. But stack up all 32 NFL jobs, and I don’t buy for a second it’s in the top half.

I don’t expect Mayock survives either.

I certainly agree it’s not my first choice. But we know only about 5 jobs are open on any given year and you may not have another shot.

Brand new facilities, hands off owner that has a lot of support, roster thats good enough to make the playoffs.

The only downsides of LV are the Davis's are poor (comparatively) and you dont know who the GM is yet. But then again, that could be a positive if the HC gets to pick the GM.

I’m curious to see how Rich Bisaccia does as interim HC. Believe he’s been mentioned before as a HC candidate numerous times before.

LV isn’t void of talent. Will be interesting to see if they can get it together.

Rich was crazy high energy with us, so I think he will have the personality for it.
