If we do that, Malekith was wrecked pretty good by Frigga, Thor’s mom. I’m sure she’s definitely a beast in her own right, but Lady Sif is noted as the second best warrior (to Thor) in all of Asgard. She was able to go toe to toe with the Destroyer and not die. She actually snuffed out it’s life momentarily. She definitely seemed more capable than the Warrior three… and we saw how capable Hogun looked in Ragnorak before going down. In a 1v1 without amps, Lady Sif I’d expect to take this 8/10. With the possibility that some dark magic could potentially overwhelm her. But considering her strength, agility, strategy, and combat experience (just remember how she perfectly planned a sneak attack to take down the Destroyer for a second) in a multitude of Asguardian campaigns, I’d expect her to defeat Malekith. Bor and the OG Asgardians faced the Dark Elves that seemed to far outnumber them, had a plethora of Kursed warriors at their disposal… and yet easily trounced their opposition. Had Bor been prime Odin, there wouldn’t have been a cut scene needed because Malekith would’ve been dead and wiped out. Prime Odin defeated Surtur, no way Malekith who had the numbers advantage and ran with his tail between his legs from Bor would ever properly challenge MCU Odin. Malekith couldn’t even defeat Frigga. Malekith takes down some fodder Asgardians, but that’s it. There’s nothing to suggest he’s formidable enough to challenge Bor and considering his showing against Frigga, Sif should take this.
