Then please, explain this situation where just giving the other team the ball was the correct move.

The other team was getting the ball, period. It was fourth down, no open receivers and a penalty on Detroit. Please explain what Goff should have done in that situation to help the team and how he hurt the Lions in that situation.

Again, literally throw it up. If it is genuinely a 1% chance of a completion, that is better than 0%. This is not hard to understand. If throwing a jump ball is a 1% chance of success, and a 99% chance of giving the ball to the other team, that is still superior to throwing it away, which is a 100% chance of giving the ball to the other team.

But nothing is wrong with the KC offense

You said Reid needs to make adjustments. If the adjustment he needs to make is telling guys to stop fumbling the ball and dropping passes, sure. But last I checked, that isn't a schematic adjustment.

Give a receiver a chance to catch it. Penalty is accepted. Your team punts and you can pin them deep rather than at the 38

very little chance you end up worse and a chance to add 25+ yards of field position

Just so I'm clear a guy fumbling and dropping a ball for an int requires adjustments to the system? What adjustment would that be

Yeah, that isn't a play calling or offensive philosophy issue. Just hold on to the damn football lol.

There was no receiver to throw it to. You are literally going on about him throwing the ball out of bounds on a 4th down turn over on downs anyway.
