At least this should give the offense plenty of opportunity to give Rashod Bateman plenty of first team reps in practice to build up a makeshift rapport with Lamar. Plus we knew Watkins would get hurt, was just a matter of when. Luckily our WR group is so stacked right now (knock on wood). Watkins is a playoff beast though so he’ll have plenty of time to recover before the playoffs comes around. But in terms of this core we shall see against the Chargers, this should be our first glimpse of what should be our future WR core. Just like with Sewell it won't be an every down matchup. We move Oweh all around the front, but it will be fun to look at the reps where they do go head to head.
