Malfatron
Watership Down was very well done and captivating. I never saw the original one. They did a great job

Just wait til you see Paul McCartney in 1970. Very much the same musician, but this time a year older.

No doubt, I prefer Paul to John, but i'd never deny John's talent amongst the greatest. Just think what he could have done if he wasn't strung out on heroin half the time around that time period. Could have maybe gotten a few more classics in the vein of Don't Let Me Down, Come Together, and Across the Universe. What Get Back really shows is that how much Paul had to work just to keep things together

He was always there on time doing what was expected of him. He wasn’t the flashiest drummer, but he was the perfect fit for The Beatles imo. Tetsujin
Paul really fell off after the Beatles, but I think it'd be impossible for him to keep up that quantity and quality of music artistry. Lennon maintained, and George rose. That's my assessment.

jetsfan4life51
Is anyone watching 1899? Captivating first episode IMO but not sure where it is going. Love the international cast, I think it's in 9 languages or something?
Ty21
I keep trying to get through Yellowstone but it just feels like porn acting. Each scene’s monologue feels like they’re disingenuously trying to force the plot forward without dancing around it in an organic way. In particular, the girl’s takeover of an oil company and the Native American talking about his casino giving native Americans their land back both felt cringe. As if they had an idea for the initial concept but their writers did no research and had no comprehension of the subject at hand. And then they delivered it so a 5 year old could understand it I kinda feel like this is just another SoA esque show geared at middle aged women with either weak or soapish acting and enough dumb action, attractive people and bull**** to keep people going. Or maybe the pilot is just rough and it gets better.

I forced myself to watch it for a while because my wife wanted to watch it together, but I finally gave up in the middle of the second season and told her she would have to watch it by herself. It improves a little in the second season, but I still don’t like it. Edited November 21, 2022 by JohnChimpo
