THE DUKE
Finally getting around to season 6 of Peaky Blinders. I'm actually kind of glad edit: why aren't spoiler tags working for me?
test
Not sure how high my hopes are for this season 1 episode in after how season 5 went. The characters in season one were just intolerable. Season two had a much better balance. can i just watch s2 w/o s1? is it like true detective or fargo where they tell different stories each szn? There is one character who carries over from season one to season 2, but no real carry over story from her, so you're good to watch season two as a standalone
Fresh Prince
Has anyone watched longmire? Need a new show while at work, thinking about picking this one.
Shockwave
Had the rona last week and was couch ridden so I finally got around to watching 1883. Absolutely fantastic show. Real to life depiction of the struggles on the Oregon trail. Tim Mcgraw and Faith Hill were excellent but what really shocked me the most was just how great a performance Isabel May had. Looking at her IMDB she hadn't had any previous roles anywhere near the scope of this show. Started 1923 as well. Only 3 episodes released so far but it's also very good. 1883 was something else though

beekay414
Started One Tree Hill on Sunday night. Tell me that this time frame wasn't peak teen drama television lmao.
ET80
Finished Welcome to Chippendale's - just a great retelling of the rise and fall of that brand and the hubris of Steve Banerjee, highly recommend.
MacReady
Alice in Borderland doesn’t pack the emotional way punch Squid Game does, but it’s a lot more entertaining. Like Aliens to Alien. Though Alien (Squid Game) was the better movie, Alice in Borderland is the more enjoyable action.

Squid Game retroactively ruined the Marbles episode by having such a dumb twist ending Edited January 5, 2023 by Malfatron

The marbles episode was still a great episode because nothing that happened in it effected who the characters who went through it were. The early years of One Tree Hill will always hold a special place in my heart because of the music and I loved the episode titles (not sure if if continued, but in the very early years when I watched that show, all of the episode titles were song titles from a lot of punk, emo, etc songs). There wasn't a lot of mainstream stuff that really leaned into that genre of music until a couple of years later in 05 - 06 when the mall emo scene really exploded. Hearing Finch blast out to start the little montage when Nathan and Lucas play at the river court the first time was awesome ("What it is to burn" had a great opening regardless).
Forge
I hate myself for enjoying "Emily in Paris". Its not good...but burning through a season while at work in a day or two is just enjoyable.
