Zach Ertz traded to Arizona for something called a Tay Gowan and a 5th

In all seriousness, I am happy for Zach. He was a great player for this organization and an even better human being. I am glad he is going to a team that is has a shot to win a ring. I wish him all the luck.

Anyone know what a Tay Gowan is?????

Cb for UCF. Skipped his final season. I liked him as a prospect, but probably not going to contribute much this year. Pretty athletic iirc. He's a rookie.

Remember him from draft stuff, feel like some draft people thought he could make for a nice developmental guy.

Remember someone specifically saying like Richie Grant and Aaron Robinson are good, but don’t sleep on Gowan. All 3 were in the secondary together at UCF. Gowan opted out of 2020.

Essentially we just got a 2021 6th and a 2022 5th for Ertz.

The time to trade was before last season but I’m glad he’s moving on to a team that’s doing something. Hope he gets some more post season success. Stand up guy on and off the field. Was a really good Eagle for a long time. Our best modern day TE so far. Not exactly the TE we wanted all the time but was smooth on routes with very dependable hands. He’s earned his free beers in Philly. He’ll be welcomed back after his career forever.
