Some of it is due to rules, but I honestly believe that there is just more natural talent and better route runners, too. These 7 on 7's in the offseason, are making these kids way more refined at such an early age. I stopped watching HS football for a while, then watched Mater Dei vs St John Bosco a couple years ago and couldnt believe my eyes, these kids are light years ahead of where kids were when i played HS in the early 2000's, specifically in the pass game.
