Week 6 GDT Bills at Titans: Monday Night Football

This will be my last GDT this season so naturally I’m not able to put the time and effort into it that I would have liked.

These two teams are pretty different from last years meeting so I won’t spend much time on that.

Offense:

In 2020 Josh Allen was dealing with a shoulder injury and John Brown and Zack Moss didn’t play. This time around, the offense is humming, fairly balanced, completely healthy and has upgrades in Emmanuel Sanders, Spencer Brown and the emergence of Dawson Knox in year 3. The weather hasn’t slowed them down in the past two weeks. Right now it’s hard to imagine a game where they don’t put up 30 points at least with all their weapons.

Defense:

In 2020 Tre White, Levi Wallace and Matt Milano didn’t play. Josh Norman isn’t here to be shoved into another realm. The D-line is talented and deep. Edmunds looks to have taken another step and the Safety duo of Hyde and Poyer is playing as well as they ever have in 5 years together. They have shut down every offense that they’ve come up against. The Titans do pose a different challenge with Derrick Henry though. However, Leslie Frazier has done a good job in 3 meetings against him.

Prediction:

The Bills under McDermott seem to love the national stage. This game will be close to a 50/50 split of fans. I see the Bills offense being too much for the Titans who won’t be able to run well enough to catch up.

Bills 35
Titans 18.

I think the matchup sets up nicely for us but we also got killed against them last year so we'll see.

Their secondary is banged up and if we can jump out to an early lead and make them throw, and get away from running w/ Henry, we should be gucci.

Bills 33-Titans 17

I think not having Milano, Tre, Levi, and Star unavailable for the game last year is what did us in on defense. We seem to be a full go plus we got guys like Groot and Epenesa stepping up and we may actually have a pass rush this year.

I agree jumping out to an early lead will force Tannehill to throw more and limit the run game. Dline stepping up against the run early on making a statement could give them the best chance of winning.

This team is no slouch they may have been off but having a healthy Julio and possibly Brown the weapons are as good as any offense. Disrupting Tannehill like he was back in Miami can cause him to cough up the ball.

Stop the run bring the heat win the game.

Bills likely wanting to be bigger across the DL with Phillips and Obada.

Also going with 6 LBs.

Kinda suprised Boogie isnt playing. He is kind of a DT/DE tweener and feel he would be valuable in stopping Henry at DE. And Boogie has had a really good start in these 2 games he has played
