We'll be coming off our bye, so hopefully the extra time will give them time to come up with a gameplan to keep things in check. Dallas is going to put up a lot of yards, regardless. So I think they should focus on letting them chew up yards between the 20s, but really focus on keeping things out of the endzone. Frankly, they should ensure that they don't get beat deep. Give up some 20 and 30 yard completions that don't go for touchdowns. Suck them into a shorter field, lock down, make them kick field goals.  "Bend, don't break" should be the order of the day. If we don't turn the ball over, we can move it on the Cowboys Defense.

Yeah that sounds like a good game plan. Home field should help. Hopefully the crowd makes it hard for Dak and we get Pierce back.

Udoh rightfully won the starting RG job in training camp, and played well in weeks 1-3, but he’s really opened the door to give Wyatt Davis a shot after the bye, after his play the past 3 weeks.

Opposing teams finally got enough film of him playing RG to know how to attack his weaknesses.  Before then, he was an unknown.  Now, he can't just use his strength.  He's got to get better technique, and build from his experience.  I hope that Wyatt Davis has been picking up a lot in practice, and is now comfortable enough to be tried out with maybe at least half the snaps next game.

It is frustrating that the Vikings can't seem to close out teams they clearly are more talented than. We will soon see if these are warning signs of an average team, or close "almost upsets" that every great team most overcome on their path to contention.

At least proud of Zimmer for trying for points both at the end of the 2nd and 4th quarters (although running on 3rd and 8 at the CAR 33 is an abysmal decision).
