Those of you wodsmithians will get the slightest tingle as the leader of men walk on small handed boy wonder throws 4 TD against the Broncos. You will all gargle at the sight! It is nigh!

Our boy @AkronsWitness

He should be able to give the best breakdown.

Well.....here we go.

OFFENSE

- Receiving. Sutton, Patrick and Fant are mismatch nightmares even without Jeudy/Hamler. They are all big, skilled and fast. They also accelerate at the deep pass because of their size/speed. You will find yourself yelling at your TV every time Patrick catches the ball because nobody knows who he is, but hes damn damn good--Im just telling you now. Sutton is obviously #1 and by the way Denzel has been playing--hes going to have a monster game. Hes been on absolute fire this year.

- RBs. Yes Gordon/Williams are good individual backs, but the Broncos run game really isnt anything special. Their OL is so bad at run blocking and their OC cant bring himself to stick to the run for more than 1.5 quarters. Dont worry about the run.

-QB. Teddy has been hit/miss. There has been games where he looks like a Pro Bowl QB, but he has such limitations becuase he has sort of a noodle arm. The Broncos try to push the ball downfield 3-4x per game to keep the defense honest and they cant just sit on short routes. Teddy is good for at least 2 launched deep balls to Sutton on a streak per game. Patrick is usually good for 1 35+ yard target per game, but Sutton is the real deep threat and he can beat just about anybody. The Browns better be ready and fix their communication issues because if they thought Mike Williams tore them up downfield, Sutton is capable of much worse.

-Coaching. Shurmer. Hes a moron and he is flat out horrible at his job. The Broncos lose game routinely because of how inept his playcalling is. He is square peg round hole guy where they dont play to anybodys strengths, but force everyone to run 'his' offense. The Broncos dont stick to the run, only run when needed so I wouldnt expect a big need to worry about stacking the box. Everything is long developing and deep, despite having Teddy. This is a offense very similar to Hue Jacksons if you remember. They will hit you with a bunch of big chunk plays, but the vast majority of the time everything is dysfunctional and there is no rhythm.

DEFENSE

-DL. The DL is solid, but nothing great though they should be much better than they are with Dre'mont Jones/Shelby Harris in the middle. They have a hard time stopping the run since their NT is injured. Run up the middle early and often. Stay away from the outsides because Von/Reed are fast as hell for EDGE. They are weak against the run, strong at getting pressure against the pass. Dont get into a shootout because when they can pin their ears back--its going to be bad for Baker.

-LB. Easily the worst position group on the team and most exploitable. Josey Jewel and Alexander Johnson are both on IR and they are starting backups. **THIS TEAM CANNOT STOP THE TIGHTEND OR COVER RBS.** If the Browns are going to win, they are going to isolate LBs in coverage and work the living hell out of the middle of the field. The Broncos cant stop anything withing 5-15 yards over the middle. Use RBs/TEs over the middle and feast. Stay away from the outsides.

-DBs. Justin Simmons, Kareem Jackson, Pat Surtain Jr, Kyle Fuller, Ronald Darby and Bryce Callahan are likely the best secondary in football. They have had a rough go of it thus far and havent looked dominant at times. I would stay away from the outsides, their CBs can lock up guys on the perimeter.

-Coaching. Hit or miss. Fangio is on the hot seat and this defense while incredibly talented, hasnt looked the part some times. Very VERY similar to the Browns situation with their defense so far this year. Capable of absolutly destroying a game, but are for whatever reason prone to mental lapses and big plays downfield given up.

CONCLUSION

-Attack the Broncos up the middle. Run up the middle, pass up the middle. Thats where they are soft because of injuries. Stay away from outside CBs and running outside, their speed will hawk you down in the open field.

-The Broncos biggest weakness is coaching, by FAR. So this isnt going to be a game where Stefanski will be outmatched. Fangio/Shurmer might literally be fired after this game (please).

-Putting pressure on the Broncos offense forces mistakes. Teddy is more than capable of tearing you up with short/intermediate passes so do not let him get comfy. The Broncos OL is below average so getting to him/rattling him early means a ton.

***this is the biggest one and my insider info***

-The Broncos are at a season crossroads, much like the Browns. Their players are pissed (especially defense) and Von Miller/Justin Simmons/Shelby Harris are calling out players post game for lack of effort/miscommunication/sloppy tackling. Usually when this happens, the Broncos come out like a bat out of hell the next game. The Browns need to be extremely weary of this. I can see this game being one of those where Von Miller has 3+ sacks given the way he was talking in the postgame presser. They will have a emotional edge on Thursday. I can see the Broncos defense making Bakers life a living hell this week. The Browns are emotionally stressed too, but they are really banged up and the Broncos still have a lot of their playmakers.

This game is not going to be a cakewalk for the Browns (like Bull/Fox are making it seem on the radio). The Broncos are more than capable of beating the Browns and since this game is essentially their season and the captains/veterans are pissed--I wouldnt be surprised if they come out with their hair on fire defensively. They dont score a ton on offense and their offense hasnt looked 'in sync' lately so I wouldnt worry about that. Teddy will get his and make some long drives. I would be worried about the Broncos Defense vs. Clevelands Offense. Thats the story.

This is way better than @MWil23’s poll-less turdburger of a GDT.
