Incarcerated_Scarface
My mother is Nicaraguan, my father was Irish. My dad's parents lived in Ireland and moved to the US making him the first Americans in their family. So half Nicaraguan and half Irish. I have met one other person in my life that is the same. Forge
I did it because my gf's mom is super heavy into it. When my son was born, she was all about trying to trace back my heritage for him. I don't know how much stock i put into the percentages they gave because it didn't make any sense with regards to my most immediate relatives and where they came from. jonu62882
Mostly Ukrainian & German Jew. Not much diversity, I think. I’d be interested to see what ancestry.com would have to say.

kyle21121
Always wanted to do that but I doubt I'll be shocked like the German guy who found out he was only like 11% German in the commercials. 65% Scottish 25-30% Irish 5-10% a mix of several places Would be my guess. Hunter2_1
How do people know their Scottish/English %? Usually that's classed as just British on tests. Or is it just taking what your known ancestors are and breaking it down?

Hunter2_1
Well because I'm born and raised in England, all my known ancestors dating back to late 1800s were born in East London. As far as I was aware, there's nothing but English. However, these tests came back with only 8% British
UKTexans
English 50% Irish 50% Pretty much back to my great grandparents. Beyond that I'm not sure, Ireland has a sketchy history of record keeping, particualy rural Ireland.
