This is what the Jets should have been doing all season long, RECEIVE the football to start the game and come out throwing.  Not put the defense out there, give up a TD, try to run and go 3 and out.

Agreed. The double dip opportunity is a great thing if your team is good and disciplined, but we aren't either. Gotta try and get a lead early to play with momentum.

So run-run-pass is on Wilson?  The Jets have never started a game with a pass this season.

Not necessarily, I mean I doubt he has the authority to check out of passes but it's possible. It's not really the point I was getting at.

Mike did a great job of finding third and fourth reads. I'm just wondering if that specific aspect of our offense is a Wilson based issue.

Kinda makes me wonder if they are calling similar plays, but Wilson isn't reading through all his options and is instead waiting and hoping for his first or second reads to get open.

They pretty much run it every 1st and 2nd down with Wilson.  Plays in 3rd and long mostly all game

Wilson has missed a ton of outlet pases this season. Be it over or under throwing, he has really struggled on passes to the flats where the player can make a guy miss and pick up some yards.
