plan9misfit
Yeah. That really sucks.
D82
That would definitely suck. He's been a promising player and figured to have a larger role with Jaylon gone. Next man up.

chumpy
I didn't see this during the game. When did it occur?
Nextyearfordaboyz
This is such a bummer. Really clouds the LB position for 2022 now.
Matts4313
Sucks, but if we can lose a dude, a back up LB is the second place you want it after a back up RB.

Except this back up RB. Pollard is far more essential to this Offense than Cox is to the Defense

If we lost him, we'd easily be able to find another. Tho your point is correct because Pollard gets double the snaps that Cox does. quiller
We can but hope he will be able to come back in time next season. It is unfortunate for this season but not a huge effect on our defense right now.
Texas_OutLaw7
Wow. Anae had that massive penalty - was that a factor?

I’m sure it didn’t help, but I’m guessing the pending return of a couple defensive guys is the deciding factor.
Matts4313
If this cut humbles Jaylon into playing special teams and accepting a back up role, I wouldnt say no as a depth piece. But I have a soft spot for him.
quiller
I would say almost zero chance we bring him back this year. I am a little surprised about Anae especially with the Cox out. I guess they have faith that Kamara can take his roll. Right now we have 12 players available for 7 spots. We also have 10 for 4 spots. So I imagine they expect to play a lot of packages with 5 DB's going forward. Kearse has shown he can be effective close to the LOS much like Neal. Soon McKeon will replace Sprinkler, and Gallup - Fehoko. But who goes down when DLaw and Gallimore come back. And do we also add Bernard when healthy for special teams and LB depth. I find very little info on what exactly is wrong with Bernard. I image Kamara-Grier-Clement-Turner are all on the hot seat. oops also forgot about Trysten Hill who is not practicing and will be on the roster before Gallimore.... If he can’t carve out a pass rushing role with Tank on IR, doesn’t have big-time athletic upside, and can’t be reliable on ST, what good is he on the roster?
