Leader
Nick Groke - Can confirm others, the Rockies will sign veteran glove José Iglesias to play shortstop this season. A one-year deal. He was with the Angels and Red Sox last year. The door is shut on the Trevor Story era.
Leader
Jon Heyman - Almost all NL contending type teams are in on great DH Nelson Cruz, including Milwaukee, his first big-league stop 17 years ago. Their pitching is excellent but they could use a bopper just like Cruz.

Leader
Jeff Passan - The New York Yankees are finalizing a deal to acquire third baseman Josh Donaldson and shortstop Isiah Kiner-Falefa from Minnesota. Catcher Ben Rortvedt is headed to the Yankees along with Josh Donaldson and Isiah Kiner-Falefa, sources tell ESPN. Catcher Gary Sanchez and Gio Urshela are going to Minnesota. /// So....the Sanchez adventure comes to an end.....
Leader
Jon Heyman - Yankees see Anthony Rizzo as the realistic good first base option now, and will try to make that work. Their expectation, as is the case with most, all along has been that the Freeman sweepstakes is between the Braves and Dodgers.

Leader
Joel Sherman - My perception of Freeman market: 1. Dodgers make sense, but how far will ownership take payroll without clarification on Bauer's playing (and paying) status for season. 2. BlueJays are stalking horse. Other clubs perceive they have $$ to spend and could form a super lineup with Freeman. Would he go there? 3. Yankees really comes down to if Hal Steinbrenner allows long-term expenditure when wants to also extend Judge and has Cole/Stanton on books already into late 30s -- plus now Donaldson for $50M over next 2 yrs. Rays they are the backup plan to the backup plan, but they haven't surrendered and are seeing what happens to the field in front of them. 5. As my friend, Jon Heyman points out regularly, there are almost always mystery teams. Boston? Seattle? Texas?
