So if OBJ gets cut, he's still cannot chose a team to play for. He has to pass the waiver...

And what about his salary ?

He has to go through waivers and anyone who claims him has to pay the rest of his current salary.

If he’s not claimed he a FA and the Browns pay his 2021 salary and he gets to double dip and play for whoever he chooses.

There is zero chance he doesn't make it through waivers.

Yes at 15m i don't think a team will claim him.

He’s got to clear waivers, then there’s only a limited number of teams who could take on his salary, then apparently it has to be ‘the right team for OBJ’, then you consider that the league is very well stacked with WR talent.:..

have you considered a career change, Odell? Or a slight change in approach…?

OBJ needs to realize his star isnt nearly as bright as it used to be.    Im sure some team will be happy to take a chance on him, but he isnt a top 5, top 10 or ever top 20 guy right now.     He isnt on every teams radar, and he doesnt have the leverage he once had.

His crazy is greater than his situation.

The ratio at which Odell drops the ball to Baker flat out missing him due to inaccuracy or just lack of field vision is heavily against Baker. Odell drops are something he himself needs takes responsibility for but dude would also drop balls in NY too but it didn’t really matter all that match up because he made it up for it tenfold with his playmaking.

Or maybe, just maybe as Aditi pointed out here....

"The Browns run a rhythm and timing offense that requires the QB to put the ball in a specific spot at a specific time...what if OBJ is just not in the right spots where he should be at the right time. Which is why he looks wide open a lot, but thats not where the play is designed to be or where he should be."

Essentially OBJ freelancing and not running the correct routes and not being in the spots he should be when Baker is in his 1-2-3 OUT dropbacks.
