SimbaWho
Hey... low risk high reward. Like it. Hopefully it'll semi work out and we can say we found Josh Reynolds this season at WR. Well maybe Kalif Raymond too, He's surprised me. Thought he'd be a returner only. Seriously though, Hopefully Reynolds plays well and can nestle in as a #2 WR next year. Lions need a break this season.
Just Want A Title
The fact that he is considered an upgrade speaks volumes about our WRs. St. Brown shows some talent but is missing assignments. Hodge plays like a rookie. Raymond is solid but not a #1 WR. Looking forward to off-season upgrades. Lions017
Smart. Good move. I don't think that WR is super easy to just come in and play right away, but he could easily finish the season as our #1 receiver. That's...not really a position that he's best suited for, but there it is.
diehardlionfan
Low cost with the potential for reward. 550k is a cheap gamble.
jrry32
Interesting that a guy Goff never liked that much in LA becomes basically his #1 WR in Detroit. Reynolds is actually a good YAC threat, but the most frustrating part of his game is that despite being a bigger dude, he doesn't fight for the ball. He plays small.
Louis Friend
Was watching how happy Josh Reynolds was during the Lions broadcast on Sunday, especially after his TD. He just looks happy. Which he did not in Tennessee. But I was interested in what happened in Tennessee. Reynolds got alot of flack for wanting to leave a winning team to be picked up by a bad team. Titans- 5 games 10 receptions 13 targets 90 yards 9.0 average 0 touchdowns long of 12 6 first downs Lions- 5 games 16 receptions 26 targets 259 yards 16.2 average 2 touchdowns long of 39 12 first downs Lions numbers include the first game against Cleveland where Reynolds got 3 late targets by Tim Boyle and nothing else. The last four games have been him and Goff and he's done very well.
Just Want A Title
You have to give Josh Reynolds credit: he has injected some life into our passing game and given us some semblance of a deep threat. Brad Holmes deserves some credit for what is a successful reclamation project so far. He hit a home run with Charles Harris. Craig Reynolds could be another successful pick-up.
