There is more than that wrong with this team as the last 2 games have exposed this team for what they are! The defense is pure trash against the pass and now starting to show kinks against the run. They had 5 sacks today but only 1 of them forced a punt as the other 4 sacks were all made up for on 2nd or 3rd downs. A 3rd down sack is unchartered water for this team hell a 3rd down incompletion can't even be had from this defense. This team is the 5th best team in the NFC as the Packers, Cardinals, Rams & Cowboys are all ahead of them. Not only is the defense bad but the offense is starting to malfunction especially Brady and today the o-line was trash. No true running game as well. This situation is worse than when they were 7-5 last year b/c there will be no miracle run to the SB as I see a one & done postseason assuming they draw the Rams/Cards in the wildcard round. It's amazing how when they go, the defense goes. Neither one has played well for any significant stretch of time this year. They've flashed a couple games here/there, but never at the same time either... When we were a shutdown defense last year, they both were flying all over the filed and making plays on every other snap. Just hasn't been there consistently all year. He has gone on record saying he doesn’t go to the offensive meetings and that Leftwich/Brady run the offense. Todd Bowles runs the defense. He doesn’t run the special teams which stink, this has been a pattern his entire HC career. Cardinals fans complained about how terrible the special teams were there too. Is he the cheerleader? Agreed 100%, but unfortunately the reality is this not just in sports, but across a lot of business' in general. Salary and seniority take precedence. I would like to see them saving JPP's legs for playoff run.
