Slappy Mc
Currently we are drafting 10th. http://www.tankathon.com/nfl The teams that we need to win some games right now are Lions, Texans, Dolphins, Jets, Jaguars, Giants and Eagles. Time to embrace it! *Edit #1* Miami doing their part tonight. We pick 5th now. *Edit #2* Bittersweet win today. Feels great to see the team perform well, but we dropped from picking #5 to #9. *Edit #3* Great win today, bringing our win streak to two. Trending the wrong direction for Tankathon. Now we pick 10th. Edited November 21, 2021 by Slappy Mc
ripsean21
Record doesn’t matter this year they have to hit a grand slam this offseason or there’s going to be a lot worse times moving forward

He’s excited because Chase Young hasn’t had a good season so far, but he can’t be pleased with a thread like this. For sure he would want us to finish the season out 7-2, take that 7th spot in the playoffs & then be picking around 20th again with who knows who as our starting QB next year but it would sure to be some average veteran cast off from another team or a journeyman, it definitely wouldn’t be a rookie with a promising future. If they have solid 2nd halves of the year as well as Chase Young & Jamin Davis playing better, that will give us some hope moving forward before even next off-season begins. Isn't Curtis Samuel going to a specialist again? It's time to shut PR2.0 down and make sure he's good to go in 2022.

I don’t want to go there w/ him being as injury prone as PRich bc PRich had that stigma coming and he couldn’t stay healthy most of the season when he was here for 2 years, Curtis hasn’t had those issues until this year. I also think they should just put him on IR. It would be awful if he hurt his hamstring worse and really tore it bad the 2nd half of this year if he tries to play on it again. Oh ok, damn now they’re sending him to a specialist? It seems like that should’ve been done in August or September. They have grossly mismanaged Samuel’s injury. I thought Rivera & his training staff would be an improvement but it’s been way worse not even mentioning the DEA raid. I’m hoping this ends up by DJax’s hamstring injury in 2015. Remember he hurt it week 1 & then missed the next 7 games? Hopefully this Samuel injury is like that but there’s been no progress so it’s hard to even have that hope. Rivera has no answers for Samuel’s injury, I guess it’s better late than never on a specialist. Edited November 12, 2021 by turtle28
aceinthehouse
Sorry, I'm not in tank mode yet. We saw what Miami did vs Baltimore last night. 2-6 beating a 6-2 team. All it takes is that little spark & the season can flip on a dime. Nothing good will come out of this team being 2-15. Just a whole lot of blame going around, plus a name change to keep us in the news. All the pressure of not only Rivera taking a QB @1, but hitting on it. and that's assuming he's not fired or quits from a season that horrible. Nope. Count me in as the guy who hopes we go on a 7 out 9 game winning run or better & make the playoffs. Heinike goes off & Taiphoon or Woz are deleting "future QB threads" because we found our dude. And for a nice bonus for me? Vikings do just enough to miss out on the Playoffs....again. Something I think we all have the confidence in Cousins, accomplishing. But his stats are great. Lol I don't think I'd be deleting them. Just merging them into a single QB discussion thread. Also @Woz is retired. He no longer bears the shame burden of being a moderator. He has paid his penance and is now free.

Even though I like Kirk more than many/most, this is accurate. We need to find our guy. I just don't want to reach for someone that isn't worthy of a Top 5 pick (assuming we end up Top 5)
