Why isn't Belichick in the discussion?

Your right, BB has done a very solid job this year and should be at least near the top of this discussion.

I would give the nod to Zimmer, who has quietly built a popwerhouse in Minny. The Rams are nice as well, but when you consider Goff vs Keenum, you have to admit, that Zimmer accomplish a bit more than McVay.

That also ignores the fact that the Vikings were 8-8 last year while the Rams went 4-12.

It's McVay and frankly it's not even close tbh. Mike Zimmer has done a fantastic job in Minny but what McVay has done in a single year is nothing short of a coaching miracle.

Bill Bellicheck will always be the best coach but the coach of the year like the rest of the awards is about the "Story" and "success"

Doug Pederson....lol no.

Sean McDermott isn't going to win it but what he's done this season is pretty great.

The Bills were viewed as a bottom 5 team coming into this year and that was before trading Watkins and Dareus.

He's 6-2 at home this year and has the Bills at 8-6; fighting to break their 17 year playoff drought.

He's changed the entire culture and has players such as Hyde, Poyer, Tre White, Gaines playing at super high levels.

He has 2 first rounds, 2 second rounders and a 3rd in next years draft to keep building this team.

Plenty of good Candidates but I'm going with the homer. Doug Pederson should get this award. His team has the best record in football and has suffered the most key injuries in the NFL. Key Losses: Carson Wentz, Jason Peters, Jordan Hicks, Ronald Darby, Darren Sproles, Chris Maragos, Fletcher Cox (couple games), Steve Wisneiski (past two games), Caleb Sturgis, and Jake Elliott. Despite all those injuries to Starters, he has his team ready to play every week with the next man up mentality.
