Are the Packers Done?

After losing our best OL for the season and troubling news about the return of LT David Bakhtiari, Green Bay is hobbled and tired and heading into a stretch of games against division rivals, LAR, BAL and CLE.

Will the Vikings catch and surpass Green Bay and steal the division over the final stretch? Will GB barely hold on but be a one-and-done again?

There appears to be no return in sight for Bakhtiari, Jaire Alexander or Zadarius Smith. Other key players including Rodgers, Aaron Jones, Josh Myers and Rashan Gary  are nursing serious injuries as well.

If (and it's a BIG if) GB suddenly gets healthy, they might have a shot to make some noise, but it appears more likely than not they cannot be a serious contender in 2021.

Thoughts?

All three of those teams are inconsistent lately. Ravens just somehow keep winning at the very end of games.

Depends on Rodgers. He looked bad in the first half against MN and Seattle but turned it on in the second half. Which Rodgers does GB get the rest of the year? If he’s slinging 2-3 TDs per game, the Packers will be fine.

Vikes have to keep playing aggressively. That’s the only chance they have to surpass GB. MN has shown that they can play with anyone so there isn’t a game on the schedule where MN will be a significant underdog. But in typical Viking fashion, they will let teams back in the game in the second half. The AZ and GB could have ended in multiple score wins for MN had the defense not completely collapsed in the third quarter.

GB has built up a nice cushion but MN very well could be one game back in two weeks.

What bugs me about that Ravens game is that Anthony Barr had an Int at midfield in OT. Had the offense not gone 3 and out and maybe get two first downs, MN wins. Unless we have a repeat of the AZ game where Joseph misses a GW FG.
