Some Rams fans who thought Goff was a good QB.

Okay, not good - but they definitely thought the Lions would be better. 5 wins or so.

Just checked the Lions schedule.....0-16-1 is extremely likely

With a better coach they likely could have finished with 4-6 wins.

Campbell is in over his head and it feels like he's reaching for an answer every week

I mean, probably. The already weak roster has been hit quite a bit by injuries.

This is year 1 of a rebuild. All things considered, it's a miracle that games have actually been close.

True on the injuries. But the lack of discipline and absolutely baffling decisions aren't earning his staff any favors. They conceded that first down to the Bears at the end, after they wasted a TO and 5 yards because they couldn't get a defense set up coming out of a TO.

Yeah, it's not pretty. It's not good. It's not even close to competent. But losing was the expectation this year, and that was before the weak roster got worse.

Campbell should be given at least two full years, and one bad Thanksgiving 2021 loss shouldn't change that.

Theres no justifying this coaching performance.

They conceded a 1st down when a 1st down ended the game as a loss for them.

And this is a defensive call to they came up with after consecutive TOs.

Just comically bad.

You're right. You don't fire him after a year, unless things get markedly worse.

I guess that's the beauty of being a Lions' fan: I don't need to justify the coaching performance. It doesn't matter.

We lost a close game during year 1 of a full rebuild. It's Campbell's first year as a head coach. The roster is bad. It doesn't concern me.

Sorry, but if any coach makes Nagy look better than them, then they need to go.

Not like that hasn't been said repeatedly the last six decades.

And that's two weeks in a row he's made some baffling end of game decisions.
