Police at Home of Everson Griffen

Glad to see there's nothing that sounds like a tragedy in this. These kinds of things can get scary real quick. Good on him for reaching out.

I know he's had some mental health issues over the last few years. Any Vikings fans able to elaborate on what's going on with him? History of concussions, etc?

Just sounds like bipolar disorder, or at worst, schizoaffective disorder -- seeing as he's clearly functional, day to day, I doubt it's the latter.

This is unfortunately common behaviour a lot of the time with mental illnesses of this stature, but fortunately he is wealthy with a franchise behind him to get top of the line care.

Between this and Damon Arnette, are people DM'ing pro players threatening to kill them or something? Or is this just paranoia?

Griffen has a history of mental health issues.

Arnette is just a punk who will inevitably blame his behavior on "mental illness".

Griffen had issues dealing with stress and grief. This video is him saying people are trying to kill him and he is armed and ready. The video is somewhat similar to Arnette's video. Griffen's earlier issues, as they were reported, aren't the same as thinking people are coming to kill you.
