The chances of converting on that 3rd down are slim. He's calling a conservative game and trying to not force errors leading to turnovers. Now... that was a forward pass... yikes. Louis Friend
Well only down 6 pts and get the ball to start the second half. We have to get Reynolds involved. We need to throw to Hock and ARSB. We keep running the ball every down. It's not opening our offense up. Especially with Swift out.
SimbaWho
Hmm... Lions are weird... The shot down field worked where Goff threw it up and Reynolds ran after it for the TD. Idk why they never attempted that again. I actually agree with the runs on the long and 30 some and when pinned at the goal-line but you have to throw the ball down field to stretch things out. Even if they aren't completed. If it's me I'm moving both Reynolds/Hockenson inside/out and attempting to line up a miss-match one-on-one so I can take a shot deep. Louis Friend
Reynolds was helpful when we actually threw it to him, which was far less than they should have. I blame coaching for this loss. Our players looked confused and out of position. Too many penalties.
doumeyer
The Lions should be banned from National TV for two years they are horrible. Why is this team garbage every year?
jrry32
Are the Lions intentionally losing? That's the only explanation I have for that final drive, outside of them just having the most incompetent coaches in the NFL.
