Cowboys DT Trysten Hill suspended two games for throwing punch

I agree that he should have been punished. But I echo TO7. We saw Harrison Smith choke CD Lamb. There is a thread in NFL Gen of Aaron Donald choking people. People as in plural. The sideline scuffle that got Kelvin Joseph ejected, the other dude was swinging haymakers.

Make it fair, Goodell. Thats all we ask.

So interesting situation. Do you have HILL contest it? Which means he will eventually LOSE but possibly play against the Saints then suspended the next 2 games. Or just take it now? Gallimore returns probably after the Saints game.

On what grounds could he contest it? The whole thing was caught on camera.

He will lost the 2 games guaranteed. But by contesting it he could possibly play the Saints game. Then sit out the other 2 games. After the Saints game we get back Gallimore and others. So that's the question. Do you let him try to contest and they let him play the Saints game then miss the Washington and NY Giants game? Or just miss the Saints and Washington game? This is an option brought up by Tom Downey:

This is a bunch of bull. The league is always out to punish the Cowboys.

Their boy Aaron Rodgers only gets a fine for lying and ignoring NFL COVID protocols. Toney gets a fine for his punch but what Hill did was so bad that he has to be gone for not 1 but 2 games? Smh.
