Shanedorf
Many top teams have said over the years: "The only thing that can stop us, is us"Â and while that's a cliche - it really holds true for the top teams over the yearsIF they play as they are capable- then the opponents become irrelevant and what they are actually competing against... is themselves. Ronjon mentioned it earlier, but the parity in the NFL means there isn't a lot of difference between teams and it often comes down to HOW they are playing at the moment. Which brings me to the next football cliche- you gotta get hot at the right time and ride it into the playoffs. The best coaches understand this ( Holmgren was a master) - they use the first 2/3 of the season to prep for the stretch run. Packers are currently doing alright but they're hardly a juggernaut IF IF IF they can add back All Pro's Jaire Alexander & David Bakhtiari and Pro Bowler Zadarius Smith - that bodes well for their chances. Can anyone stop the Packers ? Absolutely -Â and one of those teams is the Packers
vegas492
GB is probably playing the best, most consistent football right now as far as the NFC is concerned. And they could be getting some very good players back shortly. They can easily beat themselves. Check that, the field goal unit and special teams can derail any game at any time. There are other good teams out there. But the scary thing about the Packers is that they may not have played their best football just yet. Duluther
The lack of respect for Arizona is lame.
Broncofan
I will say at least this thread won't flame out this weekend.  I pretty much guarantee Green Bay won't be stopped this week.

Fortuitous timing for a jinx thread. Although we lost Bakhtiari in practice last season...:(

If Rodgers is bothered by his toe, his play doesn't reflect it much. Look at their closest competitors - the Bucs look very beatable through the air. The Cards still don't know if Murray will return fully healthy. The Rams are in a major slump with a perennially injured QB. The Cowboys are, well, the Cowboys. If they can't stop the Pack.. who can? Any given sunday. Literally any of the ohter 31 teams could.

Then our all pro receiver forgot how to turn around for easy GW TD and then we lost by 3. Didn't Rams also muff two punts? Answer to stop Pack: Stop giving Rodgers the damn ball within the 10-15 yard line multiple times for starters. I mean I find this thread stupid but wouldn't you now have to do the same thing for every lucky play that happened through the season for any team? How many dropped interceptions, special teams mishaps, poor dumb plays occur during the course of every game that very well could decide who wins and who loses? Packers dropped a gimme INT on the Vikings last drive that most likely would have resulted in a Packers win, Rodgers goes out with Covid and the Packers still almost beat the Chiefs and I think most would agree would of with a healthy Rodgers.  The only real stinker was that week 1 loss to the Saints. Against Arizona they were also without their entire WR corps which IMO was the most impressive win of the season so far considering how handicapped they were offensively.
Hunter2_1
I reckon Tampa can, in the playoffs. I didn’t say will though…

Hopkins/Adams will be in next matchup if there is one. Don't pretend like we lacked injuries. Turnovers are common in games. Are muffed punts? Not particularly. How about muffed punts where player pretends it didn't touch him and let's it go? But you knew he knew he touched it and didn't go for it. That was a very odd sequence that is rarely seen, if ever seen like that. Even the last sequence where an All Pro forgets to turn around and the CB makes an insane play? Again, not that common and it was just very odd play. Did anyone watch that and NOT go, "What the f**k just happened?" Probably every person watching did. Truley a WTF moment. Spoke to several people who has no dog in either fight, and they commented that game had a really weird feel to it. Not that Packers didn't deserve that, but that's not something you can replicate. But you don't give the ball to Rodgers twice within RZ, period. He's too good. Game was a -3 TO differential, which is also not good. How about teams don't beat themselves instead of Packers not beating themselves? Hmmm. Washington game comes to mind, and Bengals. 9ers also blew it.  Edited November 30, 2021 by Zalixar
rocky_rams
The Rams can most certainly stop the Packers. not tryna throw shade but the Rams kept shooting themselves in the foot in that game.  I think the best thing the Packers did was control time of possession. Every game won’t be like that though
