Habbsawce
When the Chargers were 4-1 and Chiefs were 2-3, I bet a guy at work the Chiefs would win the division. Easiest money ever.
Jakuvious
This has gotten pretty straight forward for us, at this point. We have the division, and at minimum, the #4 seed. Win out and we have the #1 seed. If we lose one game, we need Tennessee to lose one to match, and then we still get the #1 seed. If we lose out, the #1 seed is basically gone (it may not be mathematically, but practically it would be.)

Our game this week has a lot of implications. You already know we won the division and clinched a playoff spot again. J

I mean from a divisional standpoint were already clinched, so you can unclench a little man. All the teams in the West are turrible, besides the Chargers, and have been for a while. The North is like ramming your head into a wall. im just hoping the bad Bengals show up next week, Burrow had like 1000 yards passing today, according to mahomes.😂 Edited December 27, 2021 by Chiefer

In fact, all three still have a path to the playoffs. Their offnse has gotten a lot better since October. Even then, they were a tough W. That said, Cinicinnati sas the #24 SO and #32 SOS vs defenses. Who'da thunk it in a division with Pittsburgh and Baltimore.

Chiefs showed a lot more resiliency today. Honestly the North isnt great either, Ravens are an injured bird, Rothlisburgler is already retired, Baker has one good arm. Bengals have been very up and down, more up lately though, Burrow looks great and is really lifting that team up from purgatory.
onejayhawk
I think the Charers laid it all out when they played us, then got gut punched. I'm not surprised they rolled out a stinker. onejayhawk
That was brutal. We blow a 2 TD lead and lose to Cincinnati on the road. Coupled with Tennesse nuking Miami, we no longer have the bye or guaranteed home field. If we win game #17 we are assured of two home games. A loss would complicate things substantially. As of now, the Raiders are a playoff team. The Broncos vs Chargers just kicked off, with elimination for Denver on the line. On the other side, the Rams and Bucs have already won. Dallas is playing now and Green Bay plays tonight. J

onejayhawk
The team will be in Kansas City next weekend. If we beat the Broncos and the Dolphins beat the Titans, then the team will be watching on TV. Otherwise we will host a playoff game. It could be worse. Here are the possibilities. Bye Baltimore Ravens Buffalo BillsIndianapolis Colts Las Vegas Raiders Los Angeles Chargers New England Patriots Pittsburgh Steelers Based only on the number of possible paths, a bye the most likely single outcome at 25%, 64/256. The bolded teams account for about 90% of the remaining 192 scenarios.
