Pretty wild though. You would think a front office full of analytics guys would make sure to have the trade processed before popping bottles.

I'm sure he wants to start and he'd get to play for the coach who developed him his first couple years in the league.  Obviously not the best situation team wise, but McCarron is competitive and now knows he was 1 minute away from being a starting QB instead of riding the bench.
