Mock Drafts - We pick 7th

I think we can add an interior guy and make the oline work. I don't think either tackle will be replaced or upgraded. Marpet and Sweezy are good enough, and Sweezy's salary isn't really a deal breaker. We've got him under contract anyway.

Guys like Will Hernandez, Isaiah Wynn, and Braden Smith should all be available in the second or third rounds. Wynn could be plugged in at center but that would put Marpet or Sweezy at LG.

I think that would be a good enough fix if we can upgrade the RB position as well. Then we could go all defense the rest of the way.

I don’t think it matters because Indy will still have the higher SOS. I’m not sure how much stronger our schedule is but I know it is.. Browns will strongly consider Barkley though with the Texans pick.

If Houston wins, we move up to four. Then one of Barkley or Chubb falls to us. Hopefully Chubb.

We see it every draft year, some guys gain momentum during the draft process, other guys get picked apart.  Chubb, I believe will end up in the latter category.  Certainly doesnt mean he wont end up being a great pro.

Add Chubb and Ziggy in FA then maybe draft or sign another DT and we should...should be much improved next season defensively. I’d love Koetter to fire Smith and bring in Gus Bradley.

It's gonna be hard to bring in Bradley with a lateral move. Especially when he'd be leaving a playoff team for this mess. I can't see that happening.

Yeah maybe with a Gruden connection and asst HC title, but with DK probably not. Wrong thread I know, but if Smith is gone, and he should be, who is the DC?
