sparky151
This is pretty much a must-win if we're going to make the playoffs. Can't afford a loss to a team with their record. If Burrow's pinkie is ok, we should get the W.
THE DUKE
Seems 50/50 whether Deebo plays or not. Their offense kind of falls apart without him in there as a big play threat.

He has definitely been the 49ers best offensive player this year, but Kittle and Aiyuk are two quality players who are certainly capable of making big plays. The main problem for the 49ers this year have been turnovers and penalties. The niners have one healthy RB on the roster (Jamychal hasty) right now, so that is absolutely a huge concern. The niners lost Emmanuel Mosely, who is their best corner. His backups are rookies who have been horrible. Our other corner is josh norman, who has been solid enough the last few weeks, but he can be had. Basically, Chase and Tee are going to go off this week. The niners are 1-4 in the division, and 5-2 outside of the division.
theJ
i honestly don't know what to expect from the Bengals anymore. the lose ones they should win or be competitive in. they blow out teams when i'm not sure they can win. I feel like this is set up to be an L. so they'll probably win by 30. idk anymore

He is our best RB and WR and our true explosive playmaker. If Deebo plays, I think we could control the ball enough and score enough points to win. If he doesn't? This isn't going to end well as the Burrow and the crew will put up their fair share amount of points and Jimmy will not be able to hang and will make his weekly turnover at the absolute worst time. INbengalfan
Burrow has slayed the Pitt dragon, and started on his way with Baltimore. Is it too much to ask for him to slay the old school 49er dragon that has haunted us older fans for decades?

I did mention the fact we are extremely thin at RB. I agree with you that Deebo is super important. I was responding to the comment that there aren't any other big play threats if he is out. Kittle and deebo are big play threats. Deebo is different obviously. One of the best playmakers in football without question, but Kittle is more than capable of taking over the game at TE and Aiyuk is probably the best player we have at attacking the deep part of the field. Also, I know we have the need at RB and getting Deebo back would be huge in that department, but I am not sure how much work we will give him there his first week back, if it is indeed his first week back. I don't expect him to play, and hes certainly a big boost if he does, but given how much more control you have at WR of which routes you run, it might be better to ease him into that role rather than giving him 15 carries. At RB, you have less control of how your body moves, and how you adsorb contact. Groins are tricky. Id rather be the 7th seed with deebo than the 5th seed without him. Need to be careful until hes absolutely 100%, which he wont be this week regardless.

Beck Bristow
Nick Bosa must just drool when Isaiah Prince comes into the game. Edited December 13, 2021 by Beck Bristow

INbengalfan
All I want to know is why wasn't Phillips cut at halftime? I mean, that Colts player retired during halftime a few years back.
Johnny Nix
I saw a stat that the Bengals have never scored an offensive touchdown in the history of overtime. That can’t be right can it?

We seem to lose and tie a lot in OT anyway, especially against NFC teams
