We can take Alshon off the list - he signed an extension with Philly. I'm not terribly upset about it as he wouldn't have been one of my primary targets in FA at receiver, but it's certainly a bit of a ding in the free agent class.

Seems like a good decision for him, can't blame him. Philly is a good situation. Too bad, because we could use a jump ball type, who can move the chains and score in the redzone.

Demarcus Lawrence is my #1 Free Agent target, i'd offer that guy the moon and make Dallas really sweat to match.

Malcom Butler I think is worth a big chunk of money too, I dont mind paying undrafted guys. Then whoever is the best interior lineman is we should pay, I wont pretend to know who's better than who for Oline.

Agreed. I read somewhere that Dallas will have roughly 6mill in cap space next year? so it seems likely D-Lawrence will be gone. I wouldn't mind either him or Ansah but probably prefer Lawrence even though he may be more expensive.

They have 23 million in space. He's getting the tag. They aren't letting him go. They have some other money that they can generate as well. May be hard to do from a sentimentality perspective, but Witten saves them 6.5 million with no dead money. Cole Beasley saves them over 3, and Dan Bailey saves them 3.5 if they are really hard up. James Hanna saves them almost 3 million (why is James Hanna making 3.5 million?)

I wouldn't mind Landry or Watkins. Kyle seems to like WRs who can create separation and those two seem to be good at it. If not those two then sign me up for Arob!

Funny...those are two guys out of the name receivers I have no interest in. Landry operates the same area of the field as almost all of our receivers, and Watkins can't stay healthy and to be honest, I dont know that he's really that good. Neither of them help in the red zone, which is where we really need help.

Give me A-Rob / Adams. I'll take Lee in a pinch. Decker on a super buy low as a red zone specialist. Jimmy Graham would be a monster get as a red zone target and allowing Shanny to continue utilizing multiple tight end sets.

wouldn't mind adams as well. If GB paid him, that would be three wrs in the high dollars i believe?

They'll definitely be making some hard decisions sooner or later. Dak and Elliott are only on rookie deals for a short period of time. I read Witten had been considering a coaching job in college, and he might call it a career at the end of this year (with possibly some urging from the team so they don't see him in another uniform). What a remarkably under the radar career for him, too. Witten is the Frank Gore of TEs. A long healthy and productive career without ever being the premier TE in the league. Only difference with Witten is he's been to 10 Pro Bowls.

Davante Adams would be incredible. I am generally skeptical about GB wrs just because I think Rodgers is so good he can make guys look better than they are (Greg Jennings) but Adams would be a PERFECT compliment to Garcon, Taylor and goodwin.

He's from East Oakland too, so he may want to come home to be closer to family etc he is only 24 years old. Although given that Rodgers got hurt this year he may feel like he has unfinished business in Wisconsin.

FA WRs tend to want to pair up with  good QBs unless you really overpay them. It's another reason that Jimmy trade was better than waiting to sign him as a FA, we can take the film to WRs and TEs and say "look, this guy can play and here is why you are what we are missing"

Hard pass from me on Landry and Watkins, especially Watkins. The Rams can keep him. Nothing really special about his game. He's tall and can run straight but that's about it.

Hmmm...looking for the free agents for 2018. Is it just me or does the list look pretty lackluster compared to years past?

I think half and half. I feel like the initial free agents to be list is always somewhat disappointing (since the 2011 CBA). Usually it looks better in March when teams start making coaching changes and players get cut because of that or financial reasons. But this year does still look pretty lackluster, at least at the spots we need.

Don't think Adams hits the market. He's having another solid year so far. He's only 25 right now. Packers might not hold on to Nelson after 2018 (looks like he's starting to slow down and he'll be a free agent) and maybe even Cobb. Green Bay gonna lock their boy up for Rodgers. Sucks, because I wanted this guy coming out of Fresno State. Seems like he's finally starting to get some consistency going these last couple of seasons. I know his first couple of years were shaky.

I could get excited about taking D Lawrence from Jerry Jones...but I would MUCH prefer Ziggy Ansah! I really like the guy and have from the very beginning. I think he could be the 'ansah' to our pass rush dilemma...see what I did there?! :P

Would like either, but your punmanship earned my like.
