KC_Guy
Looking at this depth chart I still have some questions about depth at CB - but elsewhere I'm more or less good to go and use the remaining draft to build for the future. I'm with that. McDuff is one boundary CB. Is Sneed the other or is Fenton or Baker? Another question is WR. Is Skyy Moore immediately the top of the slot receiver depth chart? How does the trio of JuJu, MVS, and Hardman sort out? I like that you put Chenal at Sam instead of Mike. In a nickel set he could move up to DE for extra pass rush. A DL of Clark/Jones/Karlaftis/Chenal could bring the heat and still set an edge.

I think the other "standard" outside CB is Sneed ... moving inside in 3 CB sets with Fenton on the outside. Hard to depict in a depth chart. KC_Guy
Looking at the depth chart after the draft I wondered where I would see potential for veteran signings. Quite honestly - I only see two areas right now: RB - would like to see McKinnon back He brought something special to the board. This would challenge Gore ... but hey ... DE - would like to see Ingram back. That would challenge Kaindoh and Danna. The question is: would he accept a contract with pretty limited guarantees in this situation and the danger to be cut because the team feels they could get similar production from significantly cheaper players? With the current cap room - the Chiefs should be in a position to play around a bit ...
onejayhawk
The fact that we only added one DE says a lot about Kaindoh and Danna. They may not start but there is a definite place in the framework. That said, I expect Ingram to re-sign and for Chenal to get play in pass rush situations. Word is that Ingram wants to bypass training camp. Whether true or not, we hit him with a UFA tag. We also added CB Lonnie Johnson, making that room crowded.

onejayhawk
I don't see Jermaine Carter making the team, much less as a starter. They are already saying the Bolton is the Mike and Chenal will play Sam and back up the Mike. Mike Rose has a good chance to stick as a ST player. So: WLB - Gay, Rose MLB - Bolton, Harris SLB - Chenal
