It's buno though so this is to be expected.

Has any one had 87 catches in 14 games for 18.9 yards per reception? That is mental really. Jerry Rice and Torry Holt each had a year that was comparable in yards and YPC over a full season but there hasn't been many instances of that type of volume combined with that YPC average. Not bad company really is it. Jerry Rice and the most prolific WR of the 2000's

DizzyDean
Until proven otherwise, Edwards and Gordon are both one hit wonders. I would give the edge to Edwards for more sustained mediocrity at this point however.

I loved me some Heiden I remember he had a long TD against GB which he had no right to score 62 yarder. It was cos everyone forgot about him. That was his football strength forgetability. Refs didn't flag him, defenses didn't always cover him . https://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200509180gnb.htm

Edwards averaged 49.3 yards per game Gordon 78.7. Edwards had a good year and a few ok years. Gordon had a great year and a decent rookie year. Easier to be a one hit wonder when you really only put 2 songs out. If he gets another song out he'll have a hit, at least better than what Edwards did in '07 with the Jets getting 904 yards in his second best season. Braylon suffered off the field from an inflated ego. On the field it was as much concentration as his hands. He could make an incredible leaping/twisting catch and then two minutes later drop a 3 yard slant.
