The Eagles aren't exactly the best team to get your first start against this year.

They may switch back to Trevor pretty quickly.

I don't think so. They may leave Brock in until Lynch is ready and prepared in a few weeks, and then put him in if Brock is struggling. Siemian's time in Denver may be near the end.

You're swapping to a QB that in 23 career starts (including post season) has turned the ball over 28 times. I get wanting to make a change, but change for the sake of change doesn't get you anywhere. Siemian has at least flashed ability. Siemian in his worst stretch right now basically equals normal level Brock Osweiler.

To me, the smart thing to do is stick with Siemian until Lynch is ready, and just go really run heavy. It's crazy to me that with Anderson, Charles, and Booker, Siemian has 295 combined pass attempts/sacks/runs, and that RB trio has only 169 carries.

So we're going to pretend that he wasn't sacked 25 times in 7 games, your RT hasn't been trash this year, and your rookie LT hasn't had terrible bouts of inconsistency? I've watched four Broncos games. I haven't watched as many as you, but it wasn't difficult to see in those games that your OTs were a sieve.

I think Siemian isn't a good QB. I'm not debating that you should want to switch to someone else. But you aren't switching to a decent option. You're switching from a garbage fire to a dumpster fire. Change for the sake of change doesn't make things better.

If you think things are going to get better with Osweiler, I wish you luck. That's the best anyone can do for you. Now, if Lynch were ready, I might give him a shot (not because I think he's definitely a quality option but because I think he has potential).

Siemian should get some of the blame for those sacks due to his poor pocket presence and awareness. He's routinely run himself into sacks.

Since the Dallas game, we have scored 61 points totals in the past 5 games, with Siemian throwing 3 Tds and having 9 turnovers. He has been a bottom 3 QB by all metrics and a change clearly needed to be made.

Half of the interceptions he's thrown were from a clean pocket and have been some of the dumbest decisions ever by a QB.

He had to be changed, no question, for me. I think Brock will take more care of the ball, at the very least. As a Pat fan, I was looking forward to playing Trevor, so that tells you all you need to know lol.

Officially, yes, but it was your run game that done us in. Could have a repeat, considering it was the loss of Hightower that Sprung Anderson for 100 yards in a half (IIRC)

Always circle that fixture before the season as the tough one. Broncos @ MH. Shudder.

If by take care of the ball you mean, "Brock's passes will be so inaccurate that nobody has a chance to catch them," you are correct.

Lol. Just generally more conservative, if the same level of inaccuracy. He has a ridiculous wind up, though, which makes his passes easier to read.

I want to come back as a poor-mediocre QB who is 6'5", so that I can make $20m by doing my job poorly...
