Just Want A Title
I read an article about whether or not the Bears will extend Roquan Smith. He has been a consistently good and probably under-rated ILB since he he was drafted. He is also very young (24 years old right now). His stats: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/SmitRo07.htm Personally, other than financial constraints, the Bears should be doing everything they can to sign him to a long-term extension. However, if they choose not to sign him to an extension, I think the Lions should do everything they can to bring him onto the roster. A rotation with Phillip Barnes, Roquan Smith and Jalen Reeves-Maybin, we be a vastly improved ILB group. It may be early in our re-build to consider a high-priced free agent but a young player who is arguably a Pro Bowl caliber LB could help turn things around a whole lot faster. Should we make a run at him if he becomes available? Thoughts?
