Jeremy408 Posted January 2, 2022 Share Posted January 2, 2022 Good They made Wentz look like a back up They did a good job of containing(not to be confused with stopping) Taylor They scored more than 20 points this week for the first time in a month The Oline played well Zay Jones went off Deablo/Perryman combo at LB Ngakoue with this 10th sack (some people on here owe Gus Bradley an apology) Bad the Interceptions Carson Wentz being able to escape the pocket and if he had made a few key throws the game could've been different Ugly You can tell Bryan Edwards has been phased out of the offense. Way too inconsistent and doesn't separate enough. So if he didn’t fumble it would’ve been a first. what killed that drive was obviously the leatherwood penalty. but we rip on Carr for putting the ball on the ground. Mariota did that today in what 1 snap out of 5. again, it was leatherwoods fault the drive ended, but we are lucky it wasn’t recovered. If Carr fumbled we’d rip him, so why not mariota? Wins and losses are not just all on the QB. i wouldn’t say car was trash, but he didn’t have a good game overall. His 4th was great tho. we need to continue using mariota in Redzone.
