Winter Hobbies

I’m not sure about a lot of you, but I’ve got a lot of nervous energy, and I’m at the point in my life where I need an outlet during the cold/winter months when I can’t do outside work, landscaping, gardening, etc.

What are some hobbies that some of you enjoy doing that don’t involve screens?

Woodcarving... I've carved some very nice wooden doves for my grandma, mom and sister this winter.

starting knife $10-$15 (beavercraft kits are excellent, i've bought a few over the years)
basswood kits usually run about $1-4 per piece depending on the size, 6-10 pieces of varying sizes to start would be great.
sandpaper or sanding sponges (better) $5-10
bottle of mineral oil to finish them $2-4
Leather glove or cut-resistant gloves (better) $10-30 (highly recommend. I currently have 4 small scabs healing over from my moms dove, they would've been much worse if I hadn't been wearing a leather glove on my left hand)

I have concrete floors, so it's really easy to sweep up. Shouldn't be too hard to find a place in your house that would be easy to contain the mess.

Walking my dog that loves cold weather. Riding my Pelaton. Developing plans for spring projects. Fixing up little stuff around the house that I say I'll get to in the summer and fall but never do.

Edit: I know the Pelaton technically involves a screen but keeping myself in decent shape is important
