This team has so many holes it’s hard to pick a number 1 need.

Left Guard, WR, Edge, RB, Safety

Those are the top needs for me. But maybe Center and RT also fall into that list. There’s no way to get enough high draft picks to fill those roles so TF gunna have to hit in the mid-late rounds to get some players on the field.

As much as I don’t want a 1st round WR, especially not at #8 it’s such a pivotal role for AS offense largely because of the blocking on the edge as well so I think we’ve gotta find a big body outside who can either win on the contested catch and be a good blocker, or can find a way to get separation and be a good blocker.

To me you’ve gotta fix the trenches first but they may not have to be first and second rounders in order to emphasize those positions. But we’ve gotta have an offensive line that can at least stalemate in the run game, but ideally they’d move the pile and then can be adequate in the pass game.

The DL has got to get a pass rush, I know you wanna stop the run first but without a pass rush we can’t win on 3rd down. So if possible I would take a bit of a chance on even situational pass rushers who come in only for pass rush situations. Ideally we’d find a Bosa or a Young or someone like that, but those guys don’t grow on trees. I really like the kid opposite 97 up in Michigan. Maybe we don’t value him at 8 since he seems to be just that situational pass rush guy, but he has counter moves, something this defense hasn’t seen since Dwight. Could we move back to 15 and still land him?

RB last year I wanted several different young guys in later rounds who all seemed to hit, so I’m hopeful for that to pop up again in research this year however I feel like skipping over guys like Rhemondre and several other backs was a missed opportunity. But we’ve gotta have a big guy back there, not just a large frame but that attitude. I don’t care if the back is 5’9” and can move the pile, don’t mean physically large I mean that style of back.
