I find it hilarious because the only time we saw Bruce was while Pitt was on the roof imagining what would happen if he would have been allowed to stay on set.

Im pretty sure he was reminiscing why the Stunt Coordinator (Russell) hates him, He was mad that Leo wouldnt try to do him a favor for work, and is realizing why its not even worth him asking. Its an encounter from a previous gig that Dalton had, hence the tux

Went and saw this again the other night, I absolutely love it.

The one thing that I coulda done without was Quentin really steering into the "foot fetish" thing

Something I find funny, Bruce Lee's family is mad at QT for his depiction of Bruce in the movie. I find it hilarious because the only time we saw Bruce was while Pitt was on the roof imagining what would happen if he would have been allowed to stay on set.

They are mad he lost the fight lol

Not only was it a movie, but it was an intentionally fake scene in a movie

They showed Bruce Lee twice, training Sharon Tate for her movie role and training Jay Sebring. And while I understand that having the white man beat up the only POC of colour in the film, QT also EXPLICITLY explains what he's doing when Schwarz talks to Rick about his current fate, where you bring in the badass guy that everyone recognizes to establish the bona fides of the newer character - having Cliff go toe-to-toe with Bruce Lee shows us that Cliff is not someone to mess with. And Bruce didn't lose the fight - one fall to Bruce, one fall to Cliff, and they were on round 3 with no one having a clear advantage at the end.

And you also have to take into account, this is how Cliff remembers it going. We have no clue if it was really like that.

It could have been that Bruce kicked the snot out of him with the first kick, and then while impressed when Cliff gets back up for another, Bruce could have been alittle cocky with the second (not that big of a stretch) and gets his own momentum used against him to trip up and stumble into the car. Because that dent we do see, is just about the entire side of the car, probably a bit exaggerated.

Nah pretty sure that's the way it happened. Cause after the scene and he's back on the roof you hear him say something like "fair enough" in referencing him not getting the stunt job. So more then likely that's how it went.
