Has positional value, he showed athleticism at the combine, and has the tape to back it up. Any of 8-10 guys could be a legitimate #1 in this class imo, so not much would surprise me. I think that's off the board now unless we trade Griffin/Campbell with the Williams signing.

Thibs and Allen make a better 3-4 olb. Hutch makes sense if they trying to make Hutchinson more into a 3-4 DL but he needs to put weight on for that. You are way to caught up in 3-4/4-3.

Sorry but having hutch as a 3-4 olb like Caldwell wants would be as stupid as keeping urban Meyer. He's too stiff to be a 3-4 lb. Hutchinson translates much better to a 5 tech. He runs a hybrid front and said he’ll adapt to put players in there best positions. 3-4/4-3 is already becoming less and less important with more and more 5 DB looks. KhanYouDigIt
It’s going to be Hutch. Our D might be sneaky good this year.
y*so*blu
It will be Hutch. I'd bet the farm, if I owned one.
Daniel
Wish I'd gotten in when those Hutch odds were a distant third to Neal and Ekwonu.
Teen Girl Squad
Things can change of course but Hutch makes a ton of sense. After whats happened, Hutch being someone who's got his head screwed on straight and will give it his all snap to snap makes a ton of sense to help build culture (Ekwonu is that guy too but a bit more raw at his position). Neal is a smart kid and consistent but I don't think he'll help set that high effort type culture.
