KC_Guy
Was waiting for that for a while. With OTA in the books they have a better idea of whom to keep.

I was wondering if someone would bet me to this. I doubt either Gore or McKinnon makes the 53. Both would be good depth if they stay on call. onejayhawk
Chiefs waive multiyear IOL Darryl Williams. He played on the Practice Squad for two years but was never activated for a game. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022/06/14/kansas-city-chiefs-darryl-williams-waived-jerick-mckinnon-signed/

It could be. It isn't like he needs camp to learn the system.

I can’t remember where I read it but there was talk of how KC was surprised he was still available and had kept tabs on him kind of thinking he’d get a bigger role somewhere. His versatility and what he showed down the stretch makes him a perfect guy to have around.
Chiefs_5627
We signed Lammons again. I figured he was gonna be locked up with Kamara for the big beat down in Vegas. Helps with STs but I wouldn't be surprised to see a suspension coming. I didn't see who we booted to sign him up

The Chiefs waived cornerback Luq Barcoo and waived receiver Mathew Sexton with an injury designation.

Much of this is shuffling camp bodies but Lammons was a ST ace. https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/2022/06/16/kansas-city-chiefs-roster-moves-luq-barcoo-mathew-sexton-waived-chris-lammons-aaron-parker-signed/ Lammons assault arrest will probably be pleaded out and the league will suspend him if he's on a roster. My guess is two games because no women were involved.
onejayhawk
The Patriots picked up Darryl Williams. Sometimes an early release is to give a player time to find a new team before camp begins. Ben Niemann signs with Arizona. He was always good for what he was, the 48th guy on the roster. I think the team wants to replace him with Mike Rose, who ought to be better than the the late 40s. In other news, DeAndre Baker finally re-signed.https://www.yardbarker.com/nfl/articles/chiefs_re_sign_erfa_cb_deandre_baker/s1_17039_37599116 Edited June 17, 2022 by onejayhawk

I agree about Rose though, I’m really excited for what he could become.
onejayhawk
This is an article on players that the Chiefs could sign from the USFL. The only one that looks interesting is Chris Odom. He went undrafted from Arkansas St and played a couple of years with Green Bay as a LB, but came into his own as a DE with the Houston Gamblers of the USFL.https://chiefswire.usatoday.com/lists/kansas-city-chiefs-usfl-2022-players-free-agent-signings/
EMAW_KSU
So Brown is not expected to hold out. Last thing I saw was that we were offering top RT money, which doesn’t really make sense considering what we gave up to bring him in to be our LT. My question is here, what is our plan? We don’t really have a back up plan to not have him play LT. I feel like we’ve basically backed ourselves into a corner on this one.
