Lean meats, veggies, whole wheat/grain. Drink water. Exercise.

That will cure a huge percentage of "illnesses" in western society.

It won't cure a huge percentage in Eastern societies? :)

Yea, my hair line is receding faster than the French. It wouldn't be so bad if my dad didn't still have a full head of hair, screwed by genetics again xD. Currently rocking the Nicholas Cage in Con Air. Eventually ill cut it short again, but I don't look right bald so i guess a ball cap is in my future.

Healthy lifestyle does contribute to some degree, mostly genetic but like

Getting enough sleep and eating healthy will go a long way towards hair preservation. There is a hypothesis that a diet higher in fat causes inflammation and limits potential hair growth. Lean meats, veggies, whole wheat/grain. Drink water. Exercise.

This.  I’ve been thinning up top for quite a while.  When I made lifestyle changes over the past two years, I’ve noticed that my hair has been the same.  Hasn’t improved but hasn’t gotten worse.

The laser comb really worked for my mother.  She bought me one last year and I am still not quite there to try it yet.

So I'm 39 years old, thought I was past the hair loss age, but my hair starting falling out rapidly in the past year. I should of seen it coming, my mother's father was bald but its freaking 2022 why haven't we solved this yet? I went to a specialist, they have me doing what's called "PRP" treatments, if you're interested you can read here:

Its quite expensive and not comfortable to do these treatments.  So far they haven't shown any progress.  I'm also taking vitamins that supposedly stimulate hair growth.  My question is to any of the FFers, has anyone done anything that helped with hair loss?  Getting old sucks.

I have had several friends try this with no results. Your best best is to just shave that bad boy and rock the bald look. Balding never looks good.

The fact there isn't a pill to cure this yet is astounding. The person would be a God and it'd be fairly lucrative.

Money has definitely been poured into research. I just can’t believe we don’t have a male birth control pill.

FWIW, have you had COVID? And how long has your hair loss been going on for. I had no clue. but apparently rapid hair loss is a post-covid symptom and lots of people get it. Maybe you're is just genetic but I'm throwing it out there because it seems relatively unknown. My wife had major hairloss for about 2 months or so. We had no idea why at first. She found a group and some of the cases are crazy. MOst of the time the loss seems to stop after 1-3 months and can take another 3-6 months to grow back.

To my knowledge I have not had COVID.

Did I mention “shave it all off” yet!?

I started losing my hair at 19, decided I wasn't going to be a victim of genetics and started to shave it all off. Been completely bald since then, don't even know what I'd look like with hair - I'm 42 now, so I've lived life longer WITHOUT hair.

Hair is overrated, IMO - but I look good bald, so it's not for everyone.

OK, I dun did it. Carry on.

Yeah, that's the right answer if you can pull it off.

Some girls specifically like the bald look anyway.  It's like a beard, you attract a niche group.
