I keep thinking about adding Kyle Hamilton if he falls to 9. We’d have an unbelievably good secondary if that’s the case.

Safety is my favourite position in football. And I’m not convinced Caden Sterns is a long term starter back there (though I’ll say I am pretty encouraged by his play as a rookie). But we’ve already got one star back there, and I really don’t think you need two. The rest of the safety class looks below average at this point. If Hamilton falls to 1.9, that might be a perfect storm for us to get a good haul on a trade down.

As much as I do love Kyle Hamilton.

I’m on the Hamilton bandwagon too if only to maybe solve the chronic issue of getting nuked by a TE

If we end up going to a 4-3 under Dan Quinn, how do you guys feel about David Ojabo playing a role similar to Von Miller early in his career? Put him at SAM LB in the base 4-3 then rushing with his hand in the dirt in nickel packages.

I’m slightly falling in love with the idea….

Do you really think we have the personnel to run an effective 4-3?

Just finished watching a bit of Linderbaum. He's fun to watch and the real deal.

Think a stronger, quicker Tom Nalen and just as smart. If we pick him at #7 I'd be more than fine with it.

Last year our IOL gave up around 20 sacks and who knows how many pressures between the OT's. Meinerz is a star in the making. Putting Linderbaum next to him would solve a world of woes with our OL.

Wouldn't be impossible to switch over to a 4-3 IMO, there is some talent on this Defense.

Nothings impossible I know. We have some talent also, but IMO not near enough on the DL. I look at the depth chart for Buffalo and it's nuts. I think they've got 4 or 5 #1 picks in that rotation. Add another #1 at MLB and a 2 time probowler, another 1 or 2 in the secondary. That sounds a little more like a 4-3 roster.

I think we could, but we’d need to add some names to the front 7. Just based on last year’s personnel and adding Ojabo, I think we could run something like:

RDE: Bradley Chubb

NT: Mike Purcell

UT: Shelby Harris

LDE: Dre’Mont Jones

SLB: David Ojabo

MLB: Baron Browning

WLB: Kenny Young

and then on passing downs when we go to the nickel:

RDE: Bradley Chubb

DT: Shelby Harris

DT: Dre’Mont Jones

LDE: David Ojabo

LB: Baron Browning

LB: Kenny Young
