Now when you get to talking about 6’3 and taller that makes a difference. I think there’s a point that’s just plain “tall enough,” which probably is 6’3. And then I think every bit that you deviate down from there matters. Is there a major difference between 6’0 and 6’1? Of course not. But there is a difference, and it would be nice to be on the upper end of that gap than the lower end. It puts a little more pressure on Howell’s ability to be mobile, including within the passing game (I.e., moving within the pocket and being able to make throws from outside it). That’s critical when you’re a genuinely short QB, which he evidently is.
taylor made
Some quick thoughts on the measurements: QB Malik Willis, QB Sam Howell - Probably not first rounders, we'll see how they play in the game OL Darian Kinnard - Would not mind him replacing Brandon Scherff at all. Good chance he doesn't make it to our second round draft pick. Some of the largest hands ever. QB Desmond Ridder - Apparent that he needs to put on weight from his game-tape but he's a little smaller than listed, which wasn't much. Great hand size though/ LB Chad Muma - Prototypical size. QB Kenny Pickett- What on earth? You can almost conclude what his hand size will be from his arm measurement though. MikeT14
Howell and Willis are all but the exact same height.

MikeT14
Willis I believe measured the same height as Brees.
